MHP Early Career Researcher Fellows

MHP ECR Fellows work on Cross-Hub research projects that build collaboration and generate new information about severe mental illness.

The UKRI Mental Health Platform (MHP) Early Career Researcher (ECR) Fellowships support outstanding early‑career researchers to lead independent research projects on severe mental illness. Fellows work across multiple MHP hubs and in close partnership with people with lived experience, building interdisciplinary networks and developing the skills needed for research independence.
